DESCRIPTION:The East Asian War\, 1592-1598: International relations\, violence\, and memory of the Imjin Waeran (壬辰倭亂) \n  \nJames Lewis University Lecturer in Korean History\, Oriental Studies\, University of Oxford The Imjin War (1592-97) was the only East Asian War between 1400 to 1937 that involved Chinese\, Japanese\, Koreans\, and even Europeans in conflict.
